Nurse Alarm LLC (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. Our App is designed with a Privacy-First architecture: the App does not track your activity, location, or identity. The App utilizes periodic background system tasks strictly to schedule and refresh your alarms - this is done locally (i.e., on-device). We do not maintain a centralized database of your personal information, and your schedule is never transmitted to our servers.
By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction).
Local Storage: All alarms, shift schedules, and settings are stored exclusively on your device. While we take reasonable technical steps to protect your data locally, you are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
Third-Party Cloud Services: If you choose to enable backups via Apple iCloud or Google Drive, your data is stored within your personal account. Nurse Alarm LLC is not responsible for the security, availability, or integrity of any data stored in third-party cloud services, and you are solely responsible for managing, deleting, or securing any backups stored in third-party cloud services.
Events Outside Our Control: We are not responsible for the loss of data due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to mobile operating system updates, device failures, system outages, or third-party service disruptions.
You may optionally choose to send feedback or diagnostic logs (for example, through an email support request) to help us identify and fix bugs. These reports may include technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and error details, and may be retained for the purpose of troubleshooting and improving the App. If sent via email, the report will also include your email address as part of the message.
We use this information solely to investigate and resolve technical issues and improve the reliability of the App. We do not use this information for advertising or marketing purposes.
Because your data is stored locally, you have total control and may delete it at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing your cloud backup folder. All privacy practices described herein are subject to the limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and arbitration terms outlined in our Terms of Service.
The App may interact with third-party services (e.g., Apple iCloud, Google Drive) to provide core functionality. We do not collect or store your login credentials; these are handled securely by your device's operating system.
To ensure alarm accuracy during travel or time zone shifts, the App may request access to your device’s location. This data is used solely to calibrate your local time and refresh alarm schedules. We do not store a history of your location, and we do not share your location with any third-party advertisers or partners.
We may use third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) to serve ads. These partners may collect device identifiers and limited usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies to provide and measure advertising.
All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Nurse Alarm LLC never sees or stores your credit card number or financial details. We only receive a "confirmation of purchase" token from the store to unlock your features.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Travis County, Texas.
